Donny Golden from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn is one of the most successful and respected Irish dancers in the world. He has toured the globe performing with such illustrious groups as the Chieftains, The Greenfields of America and Cherish the Ladies. He has created many dance steps that can be seen in Lord of the Dance and Riverdance and has choreographed numerous shows from Carnegie Hall to Radio City Music Hall. In 1995, Donny was awarded the National Heritage Award from President Bill Clinton in recognition for his artistic excellence and for his role as a dancing master and teacher. He has literally taught thousands of dancers, many garnishing world championships and going on to international stature including Riverdance star, Jean Butler.
