Dylan comes from upstate New York. Although only a young man, he has Dylan Foley already won an amazing three All-Ireland Fiddle Championships. A student of the great Rose Flanagan, Dylan counts Joanie Madden, Brian Conway, Mike McHale, and Monsignor Charlie Coen among his primary influences. He is a vibrant stylist whose playing has been called “impeccable and spirited.” Dylan has played on fiddler, Jay Unger’s Dancing On the Air show on WAMC and he has performed with the John Whelan Band, Joanie Madden, Brian Conway, Mike McHale, Monsignor Charlie Coen, and Dan Gurney. One of the most promising and influential musicians of the next generation of Irish musicians in America, Dylan has also taught and performed at the Catskills Irish Arts Week and the Augusta Irish Heritage Week. These days, Dylan is very busy, attending SUNY New Paltz and performing and playing ceili’s and sessions in the New York area.
